Perché ad Halloween ci travestiamo da mostri?
Dalle antiche usanze del souling e del guising fino alle maschere grottesche del Novecento, i travestimenti di Halloween hanno una storia lunga e ricca di curiosità.
Per la mia collezione The Cabinet of Halloween mi sono ispirata anche alle vecchie maschere americane, realizzando una Maschera del Diavolo che richiama quelle diffuse nella prima metà del Novecento.

Why do we dress up as monsters for Halloween?
From the traditions of souling and guising to the grotesque masks of the twentieth century, Halloween costumes have a fascinating history.
For my collection The Cabinet of Halloween, I drew inspiration from vintage American Halloween masks to create my own Devil Mask, inspired by designs from the first half of the twentieth century.
